Jessica Knauss grew up in Northern California and now lives in Spain. She’s worked as a librarian as well as an editor at small presses.
She earned her PhD in medieval Spanish literature at Brown University, where her advisor commented, “You like to tell stories, don’t you?” Writing as J. K. Knauss, she transports readers to medieval Spain, a fascinating era that’s more relevant than ever.
