“Time Machine Needed” is a somewhat light-hearted story about time travel. The moral seems to be something like: “Don’t get overenthusiastic. If you make a mistake, you may have to start all over again.” That’s certainly more hopeful than Bewildering Stories’ semi-official motto about time travel: “Don’t get noticed, or you may not come back.”
