Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Jeff Pepper
Jeff is a writer and publisher living in Verona, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. He has a degree in computer science from Carnegie-Mellon University, where he taught an undergraduate course on computer programming. He has founded and led three successful software companies. Currently, his Imagin8 Press has published more than a hundred titles of fiction and non-fiction books for students learning Chinese. The press’s best seller is an English translation of the Dao De Jing.
“Spaceship of Fools” will be seen by some as controversial, for it depicts two rational space travelers who liberate slaves from oppression by ignorant and self-absorbed tyrants on a badly governed spaceship. No one wants to be a slave, of course, but some people covet or admire the power of tyrants.
