Karlos Allen

Karlos is the man to call when your computer chip starts rounding off numbers or emitting smoke. And a good visiting fireman when a story suggests a whole range of endings: Karlos’ alternate conclusion to “The Bridge” appears in this issue.

The Allen family now has two — or is it two and a half? — generations represented in our pages. Ages are one thing, but the family’s adventures with names is an absorbing Bewildering tale all in itself.
