K. C. (or Kacey, I gather), has an almost superstitious aversion to writing bios. That’s all right; bios are optional, but if an author amasses a sizable bibliography we’ll have to Take Steps. And we have a couple of frequent contributors who’d apparently rather suffer anything than write a bio.

K. C. lives in Austin and likes science fiction, legends and folklore. She has published on line, apparently in Quantum Muse, Planet Magazine and others.

In “Party of One” strange things begin to take place when it’s a cold day in K. C.’s part of the country. In fact, it might make a good story for The Twilight Zone, only it might be rather hard to cast...
