Bewildering Stories welcomes...
J. Jameson
We have authors who go by parts of their real names and even one who uses two real names, which have come in handy on occasion. Unless I’ve misread something, J. Jameson is part of a real name.
Jaye — somehow “J.” seems too short and “Jameson,” too formal — is a potterer, artist, musician and trainee counselor (what in, Jaye?) living in a small village in England. She has a very respectable number of compatriots represented in our annals.
Jaye says she writes slowly and painfully. She has completed some short stories that she wants to make into an anthology that we can look forward to reading in about five years at her current pace.
“The Mermen,” in this issue, is Jaye’s first story for us. We want you, the readers, to tell us whether you think the style fits Jaye’s description of herself in her bio sketch.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Jaye. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
