Bewildering Stories welcomes...
J. R. Blackwell
J. R. lives in Philadelphia, where she is a writer, photographer and graduate student. She also has one of the more unusual work experiences among our contributors: a freak show contortionist. Between J. R. and Julie Balloo — not to mention many other talented performers among our contributors — Bewildering Stories could stage quite a remarkable convention.
J. R. has published some works on line before discovering Bewildering Stories, and she has her own science fiction website.
“Springtime on the Mountain” has nothing of the circus about it: the physical element is quite serious. The story depicts a student who is very attached to a former teacher and who, by a twist of reincarnation, becomes a kind of mentor to her in his own turn.
J. R. Blackwell’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, J. R. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
