Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Andrew West
With a degree in physics and a deep interest in evolution, Andy is well situtated to write stories about the “life equations,” namely shadowy forces that affect whole civilizations, as he puts it, “like clouds of midges on a summer’s day.” Anyone who’s enjoyed Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series will immediately perk up their ears. And Andy’s bio sketch has more information that will interest everyone.
“Meme” looks at capricious fate from another angle, that of the individual. And in this story, fate takes the form of ideas that seem plausible — even inspirational — at first glance, but then, on closer examination, turn out to be a snare and a delusion. Truly a story for our times.
Andy’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Andy. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
