James Brian King

James, a resident of Washington state, goes back to the “glory days” of role-playing game magazines. Since then he’s published fiction in several webzines. While he likes science fiction and fantasy, he prefers historical fiction.

“Hunter of the East” is set in the time of the Russo-Japanese war, in 1905. It’s a story of veteran soldiers who meet their match not with the enemy but with nature and the Siberian wilderness.
