Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Allison Grayhurst
Allison lives in Toronto and has been publishing poetry internationally for twenty years. She also sculpts in clay.
“Seeing Under, Seeing Over” — with its mysterious and alluring title —accomplishes one of the most difficult tasks in poetry or prose: writing about writing. Many have tried, most have failed.
“Seeing...” succeeds with lyricism in an almost classic brevity. The concluding image of shadow upon shadow may be seen as sombre, but more likely it’s realistic. One might even find in it almost an echo of “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face...”
