Bewildering Stories

Agack, the Light!

Decmerion P. Newhamstershire, Esq.

I'm not sure how it happened, but now I see a deer.

Agack, the light! It's everywhere; I cannot see in here.

I cannot think in here without a moose's appendix stuck to my left ear.

I know I am not making sense, but that is meant to be.

I think I am confusing you. Have I assumed correctly?

Yes, I think so. And you will think me mad.

Of course you will. I see it now, you and the moose-man, playing chess together.

It strikes me with absurdity, but I cannot see the plan.

What am I talking about? Have I lost my brain?

I don't think I am making sense, but is it meant to be?

Are you still reading this? I cannot truly see.

Oh, never mind. I cannot write a story.

I cannot do anything right, not even this.

Farewell, cheerio, see you in the morn.

I will not find myself here again unless this page has been torn.

I do not make sense; I cannot figure out the reasons why you are not letting me out.

I am trapped like a bug in amber.

I must escape, though I am strange. I have been left in paradise.

With only a stuffed animal and a pair of scissors, I must find a way to fly.

So, with that, I'm off, to soar into the sky.

I'll see you next time. So long, farewell, good-bye.
