Bewildering Stories welcomes...
George S. Karagiannis
George is from Thessaloniki. He has a degree in Veterinary Medicine and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in molecular biology at the University of Toronto. He enjoys writing fiction on the themes of emotions and behaviour, free will vs. destiny and subjectivity vs. objectivity. He prefers hard science fiction but also enjoys “bizarro” and horror, in addition to apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic themes. He has had appreciable success in publishing short fiction.
“The Peacemaker Incident” is serialized in issues 513 and 514 on account of issue lengths. It is complete on line as of issue 513; just follow the “proceed” links or the ones in the Table of Contents menu.
The story was originally titled “Peacemaker”; “Incident” was added when it became apparent that the character referred to by that nickname never appears in person in the story. Rather, the story is that of secret agent Aidan Reed, who learns that the assassination plot he is assigned to uncover is far more ambiguous than he could have imagined.
George S. Karagiannis’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, George. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
