Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Jimmie A. Kepler
Jimmie lives near Dallas, Texas. He has degrees in History, English and Military Science and was a U.S. Army captain. He writes non-fiction, poetry, prose fiction and reviews, which have appeared in several journals and e-zines. He also keeps a blog of book reviews on military history.
“The Prairie Dogs Have Coal Miners’ Helmets With Lights” is a sweet story about people who live in the wide open spaces of the Southwest and who nonetheless show a lot of academic talent. As for the prairie dogs and their unusual equipment, well, hey, Texas is not too big for people — and even the prairie dogs — to have a little fun, now is it?
