Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Lilliana Rose
Lilliana grew up on a farm in Australia. She says she has “played with DNA,” traveled, and contemplated the theories of Jung. She has a degree in Creative Writing and likes to write poetry as well as fantasy stories about “misguided monsters” and odd but lovable creatures.
“Browsing” is a story about a “microbe” going from one “cell” to another in a shopping-mall “organism.” The premise will appeal to a female audience; male readers will probably get sore feet just thinking about it.
But the premise is playful and fun. One might imagine the “organism” expelling the “microbe” with a sneeze on the grounds of its maxed-out credit card or the microbe’s being arrested by mall security in the form of phagocytes, but readers can appreciate the microbe’s having quite a jolly time searching for and trying on new “skins.”
