“Eyes for the Inquisitor’s Children” will intrigue readers by its mystery. Hassan is a likeable figure and a kindly virtual uncle to Ibrahim’s young son, Yusuf. But Hassan’s history is complicated: what happened between him and his wife Arielle and their daughter, Pleiade?

The Inquisitor is a space alien who seems to have abandonment issues of his own. Readers will have to decide for themselves whether the Inquisitor metes out a cryptic, inexorable justice or whether he is a psychopath who commits unspeakable crimes.
