Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Mike Acker
Mike lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has lived in various parts of the world; his early education was in German and French. While living in California, he worked as a professional translator. Mike enjoys writing short poetry, especially with the intent of exploring the possibilities latent in a single image.
“At Sunset” will impress readers with its use of motion and color to create a mysterious setting. Why is the man digging? And do the blue and yellow represent the Ukrainian flag? Maybe, maybe not. The poem reminds us that we do not always know the meaning of what we see.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Mike. We look forward to seeing more of your poetry in future issues!
