Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Richard Stevenson
Richard retired recently from a thirty-year career in teaching English and Creative Writing at Lethbridge College. He has been writing full-time since then and has published thirty books of poetry.
“Batsquatch” is truly “Bewildering” in the sense of unusual and unconventional. The poem equips Sasquatch with bat wings and has him flying around and eating people. Truly a scary Halloweeen costume. The frenetic rhythm reminds some readers of the theme music to the TV series Batman. Not at all far-fetched. Come join the party, perhaps disguised as Washington Irving’s Headless Horseman.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Richard. We’re looking forward to other poems of yours on the schedule!
