Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Robert J. Howe
Robert is a native of Brooklyn. He’s a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Army Reserve, and the merchant marine. He has published poetry and short stories very extensively. A series of his haiku was part of a traveling exhibit at U.S. national parks.
“Pinocchio’s Diary“ begins in this issue and is projected to conclude with part 8, in issue 776. The Table of Contents and “Proceed” links will be updated as new instalments come on line; you may be able to read ahead of the schedule at times.
What if the legendary Pinocchio were a real boy, but one who was treated so badly he thought he was a puppet? What if his only friend were a kindly, understanding nun, whom he was forbidden to have any contact with? How might he grow up? How might he escape? Readers will be drawn to Tiberio, which is his real name, suffer with him, and wish him well.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Robert. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
