Bewildering Stories welcomes...
John P. Heavern
John is from Buffalo, New York but graduated from high school in Charlotte, North Carolina. After a term in the U.S. Navy, he lived in various places of the South and Southwest. He has been writing for years, specializing in song lyrics.
“Conjurings” is a song that may inspire musically talented readers to “cover.” As we’ve seen over the years and centuries, some public figures employ verbal black magic to conjure evil, but John’s poem is about the light side, where delighted children see a magician pull a rabbit out of a hat. Some of them may wonder, “How did he do that?!” When they think that, they take the first step on the road to science.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, John. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
