Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Rich Magahiz
Rich calls himself an “ex-physicist” who has become a “computer wrangler.” His publications are mostly speculative poetry on line and in print.
“A Fine Harvest” will engage readers in an allusive challenge. They will probably identify “Gregor” but may have trouble with others. Perhaps readers can be helped by thinking of Franz Kafka’s metamorphosed Gregor Samsa, the veldt as being located in South Africa, and the lion as a symbol of the British empire. But that metaphorical overlay leaves some other images unexplained. Have fun!
