Mike Tyzuk writes...
first, a small correction:
Just thought that I would take a moment to point out a tiny error in the Readers Guide for issue 93.In the section describing the conclusion for Rude Awakening you identify Tamara's partner as Jeffery. This is incorrect. His name is Jeremy.
When you wrote it you were probably thinking of my Newton Station series. That's okay. Sometimes even I can't keep all of my story lines straight. I swear, if I didn't keep separate paper files for each story I would be dead in the water.

Actually, Mike, considering the mush-like consistancy of our brains after putting out this electronic rag each week, I'm just glad Don didn't call him Jennifer.
And a comment on my idiotorial, also from Mike:
Jerry:
I read with interest your essay on the future of books in the current issue of Bewildering Stories. One thing in particular caught my eye, and that was your mention of the fact that Double Dragon insists on keeping the rights to anything they publish for seven years.
I too found this to be somewhat excessive when I perused their website. I'm looking at the self-publishing avenue as a means to allow me to put out a short story collection tentatively titled Worlds Without End, as well as my first full-length novel project, for which I've completed about 60 000 words of the first draft. Fortunately I was able to find a possible alternative.
Silver Lake Publishing (you can find them via google) performs much the same service as Double Dragon and only retains the rights to the work for a period of two years. I found that much easier to swallow and have decided to submit both the collection and the novel to Silver Lake when I finish them.
If I recall correctly, you have made mention of Silver Lake before. I believe it was in one of the articles in a recent issue.
Please forgive me if I'm wrong on that count. They say that the memory is the first thing to go.

No, Mike, your memory fails you not. Eric S. Brown interviewed Stephanie Weidener in Issue 81. What I read in the interview seems to make them a very attractive choice. Good luck in your attack on the publishing world.
