Space aliens who look like a penguin-dolphin mix? Well, okay... but they imitate Bob Hope and Joan Rivers. Say who? They were comics who were well-known almost a century ago now. Well, why not? The aliens might choose actors or characters from the times of Shakespeare or Molière or even classical antiquity. Human explorers and would-be investors will learn, eventually, not to be surprised on a planet whose inhabitants gleefully absorb interstellar visitors.
